HRKosh: HR and payroll, in 18 screenshots.
Hire to retire and a payroll that ties to the rupee - the screens HR, payroll, managers and employees each work in, shot as each of them.
In developmentCaptured from the development build with a made-up company, Acme Manufacturing. HRKosh is not released yet; these are the screens as they stand today.
01Sign-in per companyEach company has its own code and its own data. A login belongs to one company, and nothing from another company can reach its screens. 02Workforce analyticsHeadcount, joiners, leavers and attrition over a rolling twelve months, by department and by location - computed from the employee records, never typed in. 03The employee masterEvery employee with code, department, location, grade, annual CTC and status. Saved views, bulk import and export sit on the same screen. 04The employee profileJob, salary, statutory IDs, documents, leave, attendance, performance and history in one place, with every change recorded as a lifecycle event. 05Org chartThe reporting line from the top down, with direct reports, total team size and levels. A manager can be changed from the same panel. 06Shift rosterA week's shifts per location, painted with a brush across the grid, then published - only a published roster drives attendance. 07Hiring pipelineCandidates move stage by stage against an approved requisition, with time in stage, expected salary and sources - and every move is kept, never overwritten. 08Appraisal calibrationManager ratings against the guideline distribution, the increment cost against the budget, and an adjustment trail - before the cycle is locked. 09Team leave calendarWho is away on which day, by team, department or location, with holidays and week-offs shaded - so leave is approved with the whole month in view. 10Payroll runsEach month's run with its status, pay date, headcount, gross, deductions and net pay. A run moves through fixed stages and cannot skip one. 11One run, five stepsSelect, review inputs, process, approve, disburse - the person who processes a run cannot approve it, and once approved the database refuses any edit. 12The salary registerEvery employee's paid days, earnings, statutory deductions and net pay for the month, with totals that tie to the run to the rupee. 13Salary structuresComponents defined as a share of CTC, a fixed amount, a formula or by statute, with a balancing head. Published versions are never edited - a change is a new version from a date. 14Compliance calendarPF, ESI, TDS and other returns with their due dates, derived from an approved payroll run - and filing is blocked until the figures reconcile. 15The employee's homeWhat is waiting on the employee, leave balances, today's punch, payslips, tax and announcements - one screen instead of an email to HR. 16The payslipNet pay in figures and words, paid days, earnings and deductions, and what the company pays on top - printable, and identical to the register. 17Old regime or newProjected salary and tax under both regimes side by side, the monthly TDS that follows, and a warning when declarations are still unproven. 18The audit logWho changed what, when, and from what to what - every sign-in and every change, filterable by action, record type and period.
18 screens is still not the same as using it.
A demo runs about thirty minutes on a screen share, with your own records in it if you bring them.
