The office console, the reports and the two portals families use - from sign-in to a fee report, as the school sees them.
Multi-tenant: one install, many branchesCaptured from a demo install holding one made-up school, Greenwood Public School. Every name, number and fee is invented.
01Sign-in with an institution codeOne install serves many schools and branches. Staff, parents and students sign in with their school's code, and each one sees only their own institution's data. 02The office dashboardToday's attendance, new enquiries, fees collected this month and pending reviews on one screen, with fee collection, the admissions funnel and an attendance trend underneath. 03School structure, set up onceAcademic years, classes and sections are built top-down here, and everything else - students, attendance, exams and fees - attaches to them. Each box explains itself with an example. 04The student rosterEvery enrolled student with admission number, class, section and gender, a profile and an edit form one click away. 05Taking attendancePick a class, a section and a day, and every student is listed as present by default - the teacher marks only the exceptions, then saves. A holiday or week-off is flagged before anything is recorded. 06Exams and marksCreate an exam for a class, enter marks subject by subject, and publish. Results reach the student and parent portals only when the school publishes them. 07Fee invoicesInvoices per student with due date, total, balance and status - overdue, part paid or paid - filterable by year, class and section. Adjustments and credit notes sit in their own tabs. 08Fee collection reportBilled, collected, pending and overdue by fee category, discounts actually granted, and outstanding amounts class by class - the figures a principal asks for every month. 09This year against lastEnrolment, attendance, average result and pass rate compared across academic years, with the change marked. Useful for the management meeting and for the admissions brochure. 10Staff and payrollTeaching and non-teaching staff with departments and designations, monthly salary outlay and payslips. Staff can open their own payslips from their login. 11Fee heads and class feesEvery charge the school makes is a fee head with its own code, and class, hostel and transport fees are set against them. A fee head is never deleted, so old invoices keep their meaning. 12The parent portalA parent sees each child's attendance, fees, today's timetable and latest result, plus absence alerts and fee receipts - without phoning the office. 13The student portalStudents get their own login with attendance, fees, timetable, results and profile. They see their own record only, never a classmate's.
13 screens is still not the same as using it.
A demo runs about thirty minutes on a screen share, with your own records in it if you bring them.
